Daughter of our hosts, uomo universale Gernot KRÄMER and composer Elena MENDOZA, Sol (whom we had not yet met) proved so engaging and candid in her manner that it was if we had always been friends.
Having suggested to her parents that they get their artist friends to capture moments of her life in sketches and portraits, it seemed very gauche not to attempt one myself.
Naturally the original was left in Berlin.
